Many of them are stepping stones to our premier shapes, but a select few are pure reaches to see what is possible with a kendama shape. When Paulsen first showed us this beast we weren't sure what to think, but after playing around with it more; we knew we had to let more people try it. The most prominent feature of the EXP1 is the  4 Ring Stalls but the unique sarado shape is also worth taking note of. The spine in the center of the sarado helps to add weight for lunars while the double edged cups create more grip points for stalls. We went with Birch to counteract the extra heavy handle shape, and the result is a very different playing ken than any of us have used before.
