Kendama Trailblazers: Odessa, TX

#itTakesATeacher day is today and we want to shout out a teacher that has killed it this past year in kendama. Sweets pros Max Norcross and Cooper Eddy travelled down to Odessa Texas to film this Trailblazer Spotlight! Barbara Jordan Elementary PE coach, Brian Castillo met Max and Sweets a few months ago in Dallas at a convention and was taken in by the kendamas! He took the game back to his school, where all the kids fell in love with it, and Brian became a kendama celebrity in the school district! Brian has generated so much positivity around kendama in his town that we wanted to feature him in our first kendama spotlight video, encouraging other teachers like Brian to consider implementing kendama into their curriculums.
