"...I maintain that the only moral to the scope of this century is the moral of the cup and ball. " - Jean-Jacques Rousseau, "Confessions" (1770)

The other day I stumbled across an article about a quirky short film by French director Noël Tortajada, called Le Bilboquet. Tortajada made the short film in reference to teachings of French philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau. The director said he "...wanted to imagine in today's world, observing with detachment and humor. It is this notion of "detachment for a well-being"...". Not only does this short film have underlying philosophical references, but is quite funny and entertaining!
