Huge thanks go out to everyone that took time to film a clip combining kendama with whatever else it is you do in life. We had a awesome time watching all the unique clips but dreaded having to pick just 3 winners. Josh Grove, Matt Sweets Jorgenson, and Cooper Eddy took some serious time debating which ones to pick and eventually came to a conclusion. Here are your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the first ever Quest to Lace competition. Huge thanks to Slackline Industries, and Bonzai Kendama for helping supply the prizes.
1st Place - Elijah Lane - Skateboarding
2nd Place - Daunyé Synigal - Piano (Pokemon Theme Song)
3rd Place - Vlatko Pavisic - Wood Turning (Played the Kendama he made!)
Here are a few words from one the judges Josh Grove: Congratulations to the top three, this competition was extremely challenging to judge, as there was a lot unique entries leaving us feeling really inspired by the diversity of talents and passions that were displayed in so many ways. We hope that each one of you that entered the competition had fun pushing your potential and getting creative with playing kendama while doing what you love. When we fully commit to our potential and push Consistently with Belief, walls turn into great doors of opportunity. Congratulations to the top three, May the flow of kendama creativity and progression continue to rise.
