There is a long tradition of making oversized or XXL kendamas for performance and practice. More manageable than the Wrecking Ball that you may have played with at the Sweets Shop, the Kaiju is the perfect size for show and skill.
You will get a workout playing this kendama. Measuring over 12 inches tall and weighing over 2lbs this is not a kendama for your younger siblings.Whether you want to perform in front of a crowd, film a unique edit, or finally work kendama into your CrossFit routine; the Kaiju is the perfect dama for you!

Kaiju Kendamas are made from laminated Beech wood and finished with Sticky Clear. These are a limited batch.

PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK This is an XXL Kendama made of solid wood.
It is much heavier than a normal kendama.
Play this kendama at your own risk to avoid injury or death. The extra weight of this kendama makes it more prone to chipping when dropped or from normal play.
There are no returns or exchanges for played kendamas.
The string is under extra pressure so please use caution when playing inside or near fragile objects.

Sticky Clear:
Sticky Clear is a glossy clear coat that is... well... sticky! it is the clear on most of our kendamas and offers a bunch of grip while still leaving room for adjustment.
Cushion Clear:
Created right here in the Sweets Lab. Cushion Clear is our premium pain that we spray on tamas in Minneapolis. Cush gives a matte look and a lot of grip. It feels almost rubber like to the touch and is made to help you lock in tricks.
Anti-Skid:
(Also known as Antiskid Matte/Rubber 2.0)
This is a new matte clear that is different than the Silk/Rubber of the past. It still offers a good grip but with a lot more room for adjustment with tricks. So far the durability of this clear has been next level. After testing for a while we are stoked to add this new clear to our line up for the first time!
Natty:
Natty or Natural means the wood is exposed without paint or a clear coat. This tends to be more slick at first but with time and sweat a natty tama can break in to have a lot of grip.
