On May 15th 2017 Kendama history was made. Our Founder Matt Sweets Jorgenson was invited to Tokyo, Japan to celebrate the first ever National Kendama Day in Japan. To commemorate the day they set off to break a Guinness Book of World Record. Their goal was to be the most people to catch a kendama ball on the big cup in a row. The old record was set at 115. Sweets was chosen to go 1st and set the tone for the crew of kendama players to follow. They achieved their goal with a new record of 129 catches in a row. The video below is an amazing recap of how the day went and the vibes we were feeling. Video shot by : Azrin Rain Video taken from Glokens Youtube Channel.
