❓ MYSTERY KENDAMA ❓
*You can not request something specific for your Mystery Kendama! That takes away the fun of the Mystery!*
If you order more than one Mystery we cannot guarantee that they will be different products.
MYSTERY.KENDAMA.
Mystery kendamas can be b/c-grades, one-offs, frankendamas, or whatever else we have lying around the warehouse. They might have a blemish in the paint, a mark on the ken, or an issue with the engraving but most should play true to form.
Generally a product goes to Mystery if it has a problem that doesn't affect play but did not meet our quality standards.
These may come in full retail packaging or will be boxed in our all black Mystery Kendama boxes.
For only $30 you are getting a random tama laced on a Sweets Ken!
It could be Sticky Clear, Ratio Clear, Cushion Clear, or could be something you've never even seen or heard of before. Most will be BOOST or AMPED but there may be some other ken shapes mixed in to the batch.
*****
Some of the Mystery Kendamas may be slightly blemished, like a pinhole in the paint, a marble with uneven color distribution, or a birthmark on the ken, but no defects that would affect the way it plays. Basically, for $30 you get a Kendama that would normally sell for $35-65. What a steal!
Many Mystery Kendamas will be painted in the Sweets Lab, and may be current, past, or unreleased paint styles. Mystery may also contain factory painted tamas.
* Some "Mystery Kendamas" are products of our research and development process, and some might be older paints that we are not using any more. We can't guarantee that every single "Mystery Kendama" purchased will be Extremely Chip Resistant, but every one will play true to form.
** Mystery Kendamas do not come with an extra string or bead.
Mystery Kendamas are a surprise, and can not be refunded or exchanged.
Sticky Clear:
Sticky Clear is a glossy clear coat that is... well... sticky! it is the clear on most of our kendamas and offers a bunch of grip while still leaving room for adjustment.
Cushion Clear:
Created right here in the Sweets Lab. Cushion Clear is our premium pain that we spray on tamas in Minneapolis. Cush gives a matte look and a lot of grip. It feels almost rubber like to the touch and is made to help you lock in tricks.
Anti-Skid:
(Also known as Antiskid Matte/Rubber 2.0)
This is a new matte clear that is different than the Silk/Rubber of the past. It still offers a good grip but with a lot more room for adjustment with tricks. So far the durability of this clear has been next level. After testing for a while we are stoked to add this new clear to our line up for the first time!
Natty:
Natty or Natural means the wood is exposed without paint or a clear coat. This tends to be more slick at first but with time and sweat a natty tama can break in to have a lot of grip.
