TEXTILE SERIES
This Sweets Lab series is a study of textiles and patterns. We looked at some iconic fabrics to pull our inspiration from and came up with these unique ideas. each uses their iconic pattern in a unique way to make the tamas stand out while still offering excellent tracking.

:THE BOOST SHAPE:
The Decade Mod was the first Sweets Kendama to introduce a new shape in years. The extreme playability of this new design meant it had to be brought over into other products we offer. With some tweaks we are proud to offer the BOOST to the world. The BOOST is pretty much a PRIME on steroids. The cups are slightly bigger, stalls more pronounced, and there is a balance bevel in the bottom cup to make lunars slap with ease. Unlike the original Decade shape, Safari BOOST kens are not made with laminated layers of wood but a solid piece of beech.
BOOST tamas are also slightly larger to help improve play and match the bigger cups.
:QR Code:
This code is incredibly useful when showing someone kendama for the first time; all they have to do is open their camera to learn more and take that info with them!

Sticky Clear:
Sticky Clear is a glossy clear coat that is... well... sticky! it is the clear on most of our kendamas and offers a bunch of grip while still leaving room for adjustment.
Cushion Clear:
Created right here in the Sweets Lab. Cushion Clear is our premium pain that we spray on tamas in Minneapolis. Cush gives a matte look and a lot of grip. It feels almost rubber like to the touch and is made to help you lock in tricks.
Anti-Skid:
(Also known as Antiskid Matte/Rubber 2.0)
This is a new matte clear that is different than the Silk/Rubber of the past. It still offers a good grip but with a lot more room for adjustment with tricks. So far the durability of this clear has been next level. After testing for a while we are stoked to add this new clear to our line up for the first time!
Natty:
Natty or Natural means the wood is exposed without paint or a clear coat. This tends to be more slick at first but with time and sweat a natty tama can break in to have a lot of grip.
